As a former Ethnic Studies teacher, I can:
  • holding spaces for learning and processing through interactive workshops and discussions,
  • synthesizing pedagogy and praxis to create equitable and engaging learning experiences in education,
  • building relationships across lines of difference to execute unique spaces that push people's thinking,
  • intersecting geography, identity, and policy to elevate understandings of oppression, power, and change.

Let me know how we can work together via contract work, designing workshops, facilitating spaces, creating programs, and/or consulting. I hope we'll partner together.

Corporate Social Responsibility

At BCBSIL, I conduct research and develop proposals focused on identity-centered and social determinants of health (SDOH) factors to inform contracting and assessments. I collaborate closely with the Community Relations team to boost employee engagement in volunteering initiatives. Together with my manager, we partnered with Growing Home in Englewood to support community-driven efforts and deepen our local impact.

With my experience at City National Bank, I managed outreach through building partnerships in K-12 schools. I managed City National employees to volunteer in local schools around California and New York to promote literacy in elementary schools. In addition, I helped write their volunteer newsletter to highlight the philanthropic and social impact work of City National across the country.
